Gerard Boudot, married to a granddaughter of the late Etienne Sauzet and brother-in-law of Henri and Jean-Marc Boillot, is one of Puligny's most gifted winemakers. Following the split of the vineyard a number of years ago, Gerard Boudot today is responsible for some 8ha of Sauzet wines. Splendid white wines are here, vinified at about 20ºC. The premiers crus and grand crus are bottled after 18 months.
